Day 14 Worton Creek to Annapolis, MD

The ride was beautiful and it was wonderful to sail again! It was smooth sailing all the way into the sailing capital of the US,  Annapolis! Carrie and I went directly to Home Depot to replace the boat’s a\c unit and to get fresh fruits and vegetables from the Giant grocery store.  We were picked up and dropped off by Uber drivers, which is a new experience for me.  On the way back the car kept jerking forward. At first we thought the guy definitely needed his car checked but then I noticed his leg tapping at the gas peddle like he was drumming to his favorite music!

After a lovely dinner of fresh vegetables, we went to the downtown area called ‘Ego Alley’.  It was hopping.  There were street performers and boats lined up on the public docks sporting show lights in multiple colors. People were partying in their fancy boats all along the docks and it was easy to see where Ego Alley got it’s name!

We got in a long line at the Storm Brothers local ice cream parlor where they had flavors like dark chocolate raspberry truffle, key lime pie, and bourbon truffle. We walked Ego Alley with our melting desserts and enjoyed all the sites on display in beautiful downtown Annapolis.

The haul!

Spinach, iceberg lettuce, broccoli, peppers, carrots, mushrooms, candied walnuts, butterbeans, white coconut vinegar, and strawberry vinegar!
